APPROACH
Our coaching approach
is listening and discussion with edge and heart. We combine our executive
client goal setting with initial assessments, interviews and observations to
define the roadmap for the critical few leadership development areas that are
important now. We are partners with our clients to define an approach that best
balances the needs of the business cycle with a rewarding personal leadership
approach.
Based on the best
style for the individual leader, coaching approaches can be innovation brainstorming,
difficult situation discussions, or developing leadership best practices. We
can work with tight program action plans and significant assignments between
sessions, or in person/skype/phone coaching in the moment. The coach and
individual leader tailor the coaching program and plan to the outcomes and
metrics of success that are practical.
We have found it
important to clarify the leader’s motivation for change and develop a
clear understanding of perception vs. reality of a leader's behavior and
mindset. Then the development of action plans can powerfully link motivation
and new goals. That clarity generates the power of real engagement - to think
big, listen hard for a fresh view, and demonstrate the courage it takes to change.
